Faithfully is operated by HotClub Dating Inc., a corporation doing business as Faithfully ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Faithfully application and related services (the "Service").

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile details.

  • Identity Verification: Information required for Stripe Connect onboarding, which may include date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN), and government-issued identification. This information is collected and verified by Stripe.

  • Financial Information: Bank account details, payment method information, and transaction history, processed through Stripe. We do not store full bank account or card numbers on our servers.

  • Agreement Data: Information you enter when creating agreements, including agreement terms, conditions, financial amounts, and digital signatures.

  • Claims and Evidence: Documents, photos, and text submitted as evidence in claims and disputes.

  • Communications: Messages and correspondence you send through the Service.

  • Tax Information: SSN, EIN, and W-9 information provided for tax reporting purposes.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, and actions taken within the App.

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, and referring URLs.

  • Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for delivering notifications.


We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking technologies.


2.3 Information from Third Parties


  • Stripe: Payment processing status, account verification status, and transaction confirmations.

  • Firebase Authentication: Authentication tokens and sign-in method information.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:


  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

  • Process payments, transfers, and payouts through Stripe.

  • Create and manage agreements between users.

  • Process and resolve claims and disputes.

  • Send notifications about agreement activity, payments, and account updates.

  • Generate tax documents, including Form 1099-K and Form 1099-MISC, as required by law.

  • Generate agreement PDFs, balance statements, and receipt documents.

  • Communicate with you about the Service, including service updates and support.

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems.

  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting requirements.


We do not use your personal information to train third-party artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell your personal information.


  1. How We Share Your Information

4.1 With Other Users


When you enter into an agreement, certain information is shared with the other party, including your name, agreement terms, payment status, and claim-related information.


4.2 With Service Providers


We share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf:


  • Stripe: Payment processing, identity verification, and payout services.

  • Google Cloud / Firebase: Cloud infrastructure, data storage, authentication, and cloud functions.

  • Anthropic and OpenAI: AI-assisted drafting, assistant features, and claim review. Agreement terms and claim evidence may be sent to these providers for analysis.

  • Email delivery provider: For sending transactional emails and notifications.


AI providers process this information to return a result to us. As described in our Terms, AI analysis does not determine fault, and contested claims are escalated to human review.


4.3 For Legal Purposes


We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.


4.4 With Your Consent


We may share your information with your explicit consent for purposes not covered in this policy.


4.5 We Do Not Sell Your Information


We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  1. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:


  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).

  • Firebase Authentication for secure access control.

  • Firestore security rules restricting data access to authorized users.

  • Secure document storage with time-limited signed URLs; documents are not publicly accessible.

  • Stripe handles sensitive payment and identity data; we do not store credit card numbers on our servers.


While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

  1. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:


  • Account Data: Retained until account deletion is requested and all agreements are resolved.

  • Agreement Data: Retained for the duration of the agreement plus any legally required retention period.

  • Financial and Tax Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by tax regulations.

  • Claims and Dispute Data: Retained for the duration of the claim resolution process plus a reasonable archival period.

  1. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Account Information


You can update your account information through the App settings.


7.2 Email Communications


You can unsubscribe from non-essential email communications using the unsubscribe link provided in each email. You cannot opt out of essential transactional emails related to your active agreements and account security.


7.3 Push Notifications


You can manage push notification preferences through your device settings.


7.4 Account Deletion


You can request account deletion through the App. Deletion is subject to completion of all active agreements. Certain data may be retained as required by law, including financial and tax records.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at support@faithfullyapp.com.


  1. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the following rights:


  • Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

  • Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction, detecting fraud, and meeting tax and recordkeeping obligations.

  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We use sensitive information, such as financial account details and government identifiers, only to provide the Service, verify identity, process payments, and meet legal obligations.

  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised these rights.


The categories of personal information we have collected in the past twelve months are: identifiers, financial information, commercial information relating to agreements and transactions, internet and device activity, and government identifiers provided for tax and identity verification.


To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@faithfullyapp.com. We will verify your request using your account credentials or other information sufficient to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we may require proof of authorization.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

The Service is offered only in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
